Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the western in an excellent game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the house, not like most other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not need to worry about any other, more advanced players winning their $$$$.
Another Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game pace, novices should be able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make frenzied choices.
It is also easier to enjoy for an extended time with only a little bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house is given 7 cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
