Beginners Tactics for Pai Gow Poker

[ English ]

Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the western in an excellent game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that players play with other players. By wagering against the dealer, new players don’t have to worry about any other, more advanced gamblers winning their money.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies will be able to take their time and plan without needing to make quick decisions.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for an extended time with just a little bit of money after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards face up and the casino is given seven cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
