Texas Hold’em is all about people and seating. All rounded Texas Holdem players agree that position in no restriction Holdem is critically important. Playing your hole cards in late spot can be certainly more beneficial than in starting poker position. The reason seeing that a lot more information is gathered prior to acting.
As an example, I played in a $1-$2 no limit cash game at a local casino. I bumbled in with 2, 9 unsuited on the dealer button, just to see a bit of action. Flop arrived A-A-4. Playing late position allows you an insight into where you stand by seeing how other players react and bet. On the other hand, players at starting position could use their poker spot to check-raise the late seated antagonists and corner them later at the end. In Holdem, both spots, last and early must be wagered cautiously.
