Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the casino is given seven cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
